Dug out of that snow bank yet? With snow and ice falling in the New York City area AGAIN, and a mountain of snow practically on my door step, I'm ready to hang up my apron, head to the nearest luggage stores, purchase a 4 piece luggage set in zebra (you only live once, ladies), and get away from it all. I think a martini on Ipanema Beach, Brazil sounds really good about now. What say you?

If I had to choose now I'd better think of a place where my kids would have fun too, so Atlantis on the Bahamas would be my first choice! Beautiful and filled with fun stuff. Relaxing? Not sure about that, but when does a mother with young children relax anyway??

My dream vacation would be to Italy... I'd travel to all of the monuments and eat my way through the gelato and pastry shops!
Turks & Caicos for sure!! I would love to lay on the warm sandy beaches with my umbrella drink in my hand and not a care in the world. Ooohhhhh, am I so ready to go :-)

My ideal vacation is where crystal clear sea and thermal/mineral baths are in the same place, like in the Mediterranean Sea ( Italy ). Even better: a SPA resort located on a remote atoll,providing natural mineral water swimming pools, thermal baths and a large white sandy beach where no wind and rain are ever in sight. I'll have the best coffee in the morning and a great deep tissue massage every day, lots of fresh exotic fruits for breakfast and a patient swimming instructor. Jimmy,a cream caramel colored pony, will be assigned to me as a faithful companion. He will bring me to the top of the dormant volcano and search for me when I get lost in the jungle. I will have a lover who wears a white hat and has shamanic experiences, and a kitchen fresh and silent where I can bake to my heart content. I will decorate cookies all day long, eat them at sunset, and wake up like nothing really happen. A slimming SPA treatment will do the rest. It'll be a 4 months vacation in which I'll be able to check out cool cake decorators blogs and video chat with people who lives in cold distant islands like Manhattan, for instance. I'll make a living out of my beachcomber activity when I return.
Ultimately my dream vacation is to go to italy, but right now i'll take anywhere in the carribean - i need fun, sand and SUN!!!!

It would have to be on a cruise ship being pampered while heading to a warmer climate - maybe Barbados!
My ideal vacation right now would be even for three days where there is beach, sun my family can sit and enjoy the warm weather and daughter can play without fifty million layers of clothes. Any of the islands or Hawaii will do:-)
I haven't gone on vacation for the past 5 years, so anywhere will be a dream vacation for me right now. I would love to visit my beautiful island in the Dominican Republic and sit under a coconut tree & drink its water when i feel thirsty...walking down the hill heading to the river and wet my feet and feel the current pushing me in. Just there I dream to be - waking up in the morning & see the clouds cover the mountain tops & then enjoying the bright blue sky drinking a fresh milk shake. Very simple but beautiful & peaceful with natures beautity surrounding me..... a dream life vacation.
A cruise on the French Riviera would be my dream vacation!

I haven't been out of the country in almost 20 years. I would love to go to Hawaii or Turks & Caicos. Just to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, see the beautiful waters and experience the environment and people would be a dream come true. It would definitely remove the soreness from my body from shoveling all this snow and deicing the sidewalks!
Welcome to the Republic of Maldives, where I'll be staying at the Anantara Veli Resort & Spa. Just picture myself in a luxury quiet small villa like resort surrounded by clear turquoise waters and white sand beaches. I could see 2 people on the beach, myself and my loved one (because I have with my the most incredible man joining me on the trip). I'll spend eating the delicacies of the island (seafood jews) and of course devouring some desserts. (yum!) I'll drink pina coladas (super alcoholic) at the pool side, then beach side, enjoy some windsurfing, some boating, some fishing, and definietly doing some relaxing in the hands of someone unknoting the knots in my back one by one. Exfoliating too, suuure why not! And then.........I wake up... its only a dream (and the man in it was only just a dream too... darn!)

I too am sick of the snow in NY I dream of anywere warm sunny, nice beaches and something fun for the kids, they are also very sick of beign inside and cold outside!.
Costa Rica is my ideal dream vacation. I'll be able to go zip lining during the day and relax my muscles in the evening in a natural hot spring while listening to exotic birds and monkeys in the nearby rain forrest. Oh how I wish I was there now! I would be eating fresh Mangos and passion fruit with a cup of freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee for breakfast. Laying out on the white sandy beaches and surfing all day long. And of course eating more rich in flavor delicious food and dancing the night away with native Ticos. Ahhh... I'll keep dreaming.
My dream vacation is Mexico, I have never been but the pictures I have seen from Cancun and Riviera Maya are gorgeous! I just want to go there and sit out on the beach and soak up the sun until winter is over! Call me off the beach when Spring has arrived!
