The lilac floret was created by Dina, Organizer, New York City Cake Decorators MeetupThis gumpaste flower was created in Chef Ruth Drennan's gumpaste lilac class. The small floret consists of approximately 20 buds and 40 blossoms. So although the lilac is not the most difficult gumpaste flower to create, it certainly takes a lot of time to create a small floret!
