Cricut cake is still making a very BIG buzz for us cakers. The digial machine, scheduled to be available this spring, appears to be the best thing since mom's apple pie! Rumor has it that we cakers will be able to see cricut cake in action at TLC's Ultimate Cake-Off with Norman Davis and Carrie Biggers on March 1, 2010.

The cake buzz is that cricut cake will not only work with gumpaste and fondant but sugarveil as well! Provocraft will offer gumpaste and frosting sheets as well as edible inks. The cricut cake cartridges will be interchangeable with other cricut cartridges. . Dolly our resident cricut guru, has stated that even novice cake decorators have been able to create professionally decorated cakes with cricut. Can I say, Amen!!

Very disappointed because Cricut Cake wasn't shown being used. Expected to see the Cricut but not even a peak of it. Was it even used???

Very disappointed. Watched the show tonight to see the Cricut Cake being used. Never saw the machine much less it being used. Poor advertising to use the Cricut to get viewers and then not use it on the show.

I didn't get a chance to watch the show but it was my understanding that the cricut cake machine was going to be shown in operation in some capacity. The statement in the post was made in good faith. You may be interested to know that our Meetup is actively trying to contact the company to see if a representative can come to our Meetup to demonstrate Circut Cake.

Thanks for your comment. It's sincerely appreciated.
